About this plugin
Mode Match lets you take a variable's value from one mode and apply it to other modes. Match a single variable, group of variables, or all variables in a collection!Select your multi-mode collectionSelect the source mode (copy from)Select the destination mode (copy to)Enter the path to a group of variables or a single variable (see below for bulk actions)Update ✨TipKeep your variable window open to see the changes.Use the Refresh button to pull in changes to the variables made when the plugin window is open. (see below for copy & paste)Use clear to quickly delete the path.Bulk ActionsYou will most likely want to run this on a group or the entire collection:Update all variables within a group by entering a path/to/groupUpdate all variables in the collection by entering / @all or @root in the path inputPlugin NotesCollection list will only show collections with more than 1 modeVariable names and paths are case sensitiveUpdating variables, especially those linked to text styles may take longer to propagateSupportsAll variable types (number, string, boolean, color)AliasingRaw valuesCopy/Paste Figma BugIf you copy/paste variables between collections, you may need to reload the tab in order for those variables to register in their new collection.
