About this plugin

Detach Aliases lets you resolve variable's aliased values from their sources. Easily detach a specific group of variables or all variables in a collection. You can target one mode at a time or all modes at once!Select your collectionSelect the target mode or all modesEnter the path to a group of variables or a single variable (see below for bulk actions)DetachTipKeep your variable window open to see the changes.Use the Refresh button to pull in changes to the variables made when the plugin window is open. (see below for copy & paste)Use clear to quickly delete the path.Bulk ActionsYou will most likely want to run this on a group or the entire collection:Update all variables within a group by entering the path/to/groupUpdate all variables in the collection by entering / @all or @root in the path inputYou will see all variables which are located in the path and would have aliases detached in the preview panel on the leftPlugin NotesVariable names and paths are case sensitiveDetaching variables, especially those linked to text styles may take longer to propagateCopy/Paste Figma BugIf you copy/paste variables between collections, you may need to reload the tab in order for those variables to register in their new collection.
