Quickly identify, review, and either delete or make visible all hidden layers within your selection.What It DoesDelete Hidden Layers scans your selected Figma elements and finds all hidden layers nested within them. The plugin provides an interactive interface where you can:View all hidden layers in a scrollable list with their namesSelectively skip items by clicking on them (they'll be marked with a dashed border)Delete hidden layers to clean up your design filesMake layers visible if you want to restore them instead of deletingThis is especially useful for:Cleaning up messy design files with forgotten hidden elementsPreparing files for handoff by removing unnecessary hidden layersAuditing your designs to see what's been hiddenBatch operations on multiple hidden layers at onceUser Guideㅤㅤ➊ Select Your ElementsOpen your Figma fileSelect one or more frames, groups, or components that you want to scan for hidden layersYou can select multiple items at once - the plugin will scan all of themTip: Select a top-level frame to scan everything within it, or select specific elements for more targeted scanning.ㅤㅤ➋ Run the PluginGo to Plugins in the Figma menu (or right-click and select Plugins)Find and click Delete Hidden LayersThe plugin window will open and automatically scan your selectionㅤㅤ➌ Review Hidden LayersThe plugin will display a list of all hidden layers found within your selection:Each item shows the layer nameAn eye icon appears next to each itemThe count of hidden items is shown at the top of the listIf no hidden layers are found, you'll see a message saying "No hidden items found in the selection."ㅤㅤ➍ Choose Which Layers to Process (Optional)By default, all hidden layers will be processed. To skip specific layers:Click on any layer in the list to skip itSkipped layers will:Show a dashed borderDisplay a "hidden eye" iconAppear dimmedClick again to un-skip the layerTip: This is useful when you want to keep certain hidden layers (like backup versions or reference elements) while removing others.ㅤㅤ➎ Take ActionChoose one of two actions:🅰 Delete Hidden LayersClick the "Delete Hidden Layers" button (red)All non-skipped hidden layers will be permanently deletedA success message will show how many items were deletedThe list will refresh to show any remaining hidden layers🅱 Make VisibleClick the "Make Visible" button (blue)All non-skipped hidden layers will be made visibleA success message will show how many items were made visibleThe list will refresh to show any remaining hidden layersㅤㅤ➏ Repeat or CloseAfter taking action:The plugin automatically rescans your selectionYou can continue processing more hidden layersOr close the plugin when you're doneㅤㅤㅤNeed more design tools?
