About this plugin

This plugin helps users generate colour tones with consistent perceived spacing by working in a perceptual colour space. Users can create multiple palettes by providing base Hex values and palette names.

Colour management

The plugin uses the OKLCH colour model to normalise Hex inputs and generate tone scales. Contrast and chroma are controlled in OKLCH space relative to pure white and pure black, producing tones that feel evenly distributed to the eye, especially in lighter ranges.

Specifications

1. If no name is provided, the plugin generates the palette name from the detected hue.
2. Measured WCAG contrast may differ slightly from target values due to colour space conversion and display constraints.
