About this plugin
Populator fills your text layers and avatar shapes with realistic dummy data so you can design with real-looking content instead of placeholders. How it works: Select one or more text layers or a frame with text, add optional context (e.g. "names", "fintech"), and click Populate. The plugin infers data types from layer names and nearby labels, then fills each layer with matching data. What you get: Full names, first/last names, emails, job titles, company names, phone numbers, addresses, dates, order IDs, statuses, prices, and short bios. For shapes named like "Avatar" or "Profile image", it can add avatar images.Components: When you select component instances with variants, Populator switches between variants instead of editing text. Works with local and library components.Context hints: Use the Context field to guide intent e.g. "names", "user profile", "order table", "fintech", o the plugin can fill more accurately.
